Ambroxol Hydrochloride
Amcold is indicated for:
Productive Cough: For relieving cough in acute and chronic disorders of the respiratory tract associated with pathologically thickened mucus. Acute and Chronic diseases of respiratory tracts associated with viscid mucus including acute and chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, otitis media, sinusitis, nasopharyngitis. Acute respiratory tract diseases with impaired formation of secretions, particularly in acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, asthmatic bronchitis, bronchial asthma & bronchiectasis.
For children below 2 years, the recommended dose is 2.5 ml (½ teaspoonful) twice daily. For those aged 2–5 years, the dose is 2.5 ml (½ teaspoonful) three times daily. Children aged 6–12 years should take 5 ml (1 teaspoonful) three times daily, while individuals over 12 years should take 10 ml (2 teaspoonfuls) two to three times daily.
Amcold Syrup: Each box contains a PET bottle containing 100 ml syrup and a measuring cup.
