Salmeterol+Fluticasone Multi Dose Dry Powder Inhaler
Asthma: Seretrol-F is indicated for the regular treatment of asthma where the use of a combination product (long-acting beta 2 agonist and inhaled corticosteroids) is
required.
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD): Seretrol-F is indicated for the
symptomatic treatment of patients with COPD, with a history of repeated exacerbations, who have significant symptoms despite regular bronchodilator therapy.
Asthma (Reversible Airway Disease):
Adults and adolescents 12 years and older-
Seretrol-F (50/100 mcg): One inhalation twice daily or
Seretrol-F (50/250 mcg): One inhalation twice daily or
Seretrol-F (50/500 mcg): One inhalation twice daily
Children 4 years and older:
Seretrol-F (50/100 mcg): One inhalation twice daily
There are no available data for the use of Salmeterol + Fluticasone in children aged
under 4 years.
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD): For adult patients, the recommended dose is one inhalation of 50/250 mcg or 50/500 mcg Salmeterol +
Fluticasone twice daily.
Renal & Hepatic Patient: No need to adjust the dose in elderly patients or in renal
or hepatic impairment.
