Mupirocin
Bactriben ointment is indicated for the topical treatment of impetigo due to Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes. It is also indicated in folliculitis and furunculosis.
For children and adults: A small amount of Mupirocin ointment should be applied to the affected area 3 times daily for up to 10 days.
Bactriben Ointment: Each tube contains 15 gram ointment.
